Hiring but make it fun!

When Hiring becomes fun

If hiring had a personality, what would yours be and why?

The personality I choose to be is “The Insightful Curator.”

I would rather find one perfect fit than a hundred maybes. For me, hiring is not about scanning buzzwords or counting certifications. It’s about understanding the craft behind the portfolio.

Because the right hire doesn’t just fill a role, and they shape the culture.

When Interviews becomes Stories that Resonates

What’s one candidate story that stayed with you long after the interview ended?

I once asked a candidate about a failed project.

Instead of shifting blame to the team or circumstances, he took complete ownership. He spoke about a communication breakdown — and more importantly, explained what he changed in the process to ensure it never happened again.

There was no ego. No defensiveness. Just accountability and growth.

“Skill can be taught, but ownership cannot.”

Onboarding- but make it Interesting

If you could redesign the onboarding experience at iNube like a Netflix series, what would Episode 1 be called?

“Sabr ka phal meetha hota hai.”

Tagline: Great things take time…

The first episode would focus on patience, learning curves, and building confidence gradually. Onboarding isn’t about overwhelming someone with information. It’s about letting them grow into their role, step by step, until clarity replaces hesitation and confidence replaces doubt.

A Small HR Moment but Bigger Impactful

What’s one small HR moment that creates a big impact but often goes unnoticed?

The genuine outreach. Reaching out to someone after a big milestone with no agenda. No checklist. Just a simple conversation to say, “I see your effort.”

It reminds them they are valued as people, not just headcount.

Showing Leadership in Quieter Ways

What’s your go-to instinct when someone joins the team nervous on Day 1?

To be a friendly face.

I skip the heavy formal jargon. I focus on making them comfortable first. When someone feels safe, they ask questions. When they ask questions, they learn faster, and when they learn faster, they belong sooner.

And belonging changes everything.

Ever thought, what if..

Talent Acquisition could have a Superpower?

If Talent Acquisition had a superpower, what would you choose?

Building instant belonging. When someone feels welcomed, valued, and included from day one, they stop second-guessing themselves and start showing up with confidence.

That sense of comfort helps them open up, collaborate better, and bring their real strengths to the table. And when people feel they truly belong, they don’t just perform well; they stay and grow with the team.

The Hiring Philosophy

What’s the hiring philosophy that you have always followed?

For me, hiring is never just about filling a role. It’s about truly listening, seeing the person beyond the resume, and believing in who they can become. When you hire with insight and intention, you are not just adding talent to a team; you are helping shape someone’s future.
